Dr. Debra Savitt's dream is to empower children at a young age to teach them spiritual and cultural  practices  from all around the world.  This will help the children to get in touch with their own personal inner power and guidance and to broaden their knowledge of other cultures.  Children ages 5-11 years will learn positive disciplines that will build inner strength and confidence so they can go out in the world and create their own dreams.  They will also have a greater understanding of how to communicate their own feelings in a positive way and to learn to listen to others empathically .  This will lead to greater compassion and understanding about the differences and similarities that exist within every person. This program was created to empower children to embrace high self-esteem, confidence, and to discover their personal individuality and beauty.  The programs vision is; "The Children are our Future."  As adults they will have the skills to work collectively to promote spiritual wisdom,  healthy practices, and  to make positive changes in the world.  This program is a statement that as grandparents, parents, and adults we do care about the future of our children and our planet.  Will you join us in  this vision?

Storytelling Yoga: It teaches children how to build morals, values, and character building from a collection of cultural stories from all around the world. This empowers children to learn balance, confidence, spiritual and physical strength in a joyful creative playful way.  This creates a sense of family, community, connectedness, confidence and boosts their imagination.  The children learn yoga postures which are part of the storyline. Yoga teaches the children to keep their bodies healthy through exercise and good eating and lifestyle habits.  They also learn breath work and meditation to calm their minds. 

How to create a cause:  The children will learn how to create their own cause.  They will pick a cause they feel passionate about and learn all of the steps in creating it.   If they wish they can work in conjunction with a non-profit they want to promote.  They can create they own WebPages, posters, budget sheets, fund-raising events, etc. for their specific cause.  If the child is a younger age, the causes can be as simple as a clean up on a block or  room in the family household!  Perhaps the cause might be assisting a brother or sister or a family member.  Perhaps the child may want to grow a garden to add additional lively, colorful vegetables to the family menu and assist in the food budget. 

The  children can prepare speeches and present them in the community if they wish.  The goal is to teach children they can be passionate about creating change and how to make it happen!

ECOLOGY: PLANETARY HEALING

This program will teach the children various exercises such as planting a personal garden, how to collect bottles and cans, neighborhood education and cleanup projects, solar, wind, and water energy efficiency and much more!
